Ooooo.… Big hard drive.…

Yay! I finally ordered a new hard drive! It is a 320GB Sea­gate Bar­racuda 7200.10 SATA. I got it for $109 — $36 GC — $25 GC + $0 S/H = $48. Yeah, 500GB dri­ves are avail­able, but they cost like $200 to $300. The 320GB model has a much bet­ter price/GB ratio.

I’m going to try to leave my cur­rent 70GB in there and then use the 320GB as the pri­mary drive, and install Ubuntu Linux on it. Then I’ll try to use Win­dows XP under Ubuntu instead of as the pri­mary OS. We’ll see how it goes.
