So when mak­ing my Fake Name Gen­er­a­tor, I ran into the prob­lem of how to select a ran­dom record, but still have it weighted so some records show up more often than others.

15 Minutes of Fame

So some­body appa­rantly put my fake name gen­er­a­tor on Digg. It is actu­ally doing quite well (supris­ingly). Over 500 diggs in under 5 hours. Over 30,000 gen­er­ated names.
